Cumbria Sustainability Network

Local action, county-wide change

What is the CSN?

The Cumbria Sustainability Network (CSN) brings together groups and individuals from across the county to support each other to raise awareness of the climate crisis and encourage action to cut carbon emissions, in line with the Zero Carbon Cumbria mission to achieve net zero by 2037. The network is an important part of the Zero Carbon Cumbria Partnership, ensuring that there is a strong community voice which can help influence change.

CSN members meet monthly online (currently on the first Wednesday of the month) and occasionally get together in person to explore different topics.

Our network will help you:

Keep informed of current issues and campaigns

Learn what works in other projects and communities

Find out about funding opportunities and other sources of help

Feel more confident that change is possible and you’re not on your own

Build contacts and develop your networks
