Case studies & inspiration
Communities across Cumbria are responding to the challenge of the climate and nature crisis in many different ways. A number of projects were awarded funding through the ZCCP Community Climate Grants as part of the five-year National Lottery funded project which ran from 2020 – 2025. The aim was to trial different approaches to raising awareness and practical action to cut carbon, and to encourage others to get involved and maybe replicate ideas in their own communities.
