Let's work together to get Cumbria's emissions down!

Thank you for expressing interest in the Zero Carbon Cumbria Partnership (ZCCP). We highly appreciate your involvement in Cumbria’s journey towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions. The more partners we have on board, the greater our chances of becoming the first county to achieve net zero carbon emissions.

Our diverse group of partners from across Cumbria demonstrates to both local and national decisionmakers the local demand for tackling climate change.

Partners might range from micro-businesses or volunteer groups with limited resources, to larger organisations or local authority services. To reflect this diversity we are offering different levels of participation in the partnership:

Supporter Partner – You may be a small organisation/group with very limited resources and a small carbon footprint. You’re supportive of the aims of the ZCCP and would like to be part of our network and stay up to date with our work. 

Pledge Partner – You may be a small/medium sized organisation/group taking action to reduce your carbon footprint.  You have resources that can help ZCCP – for example, you could share our messages to your own network, you have expert knowledge or experience to share, or other resources to help us. 

Strategic Partner – you may represent a key stakeholder, interest group or a membership organisation of some kind and have influence on people, policies and plans, as well as capabilities that could help to deliver a zero carbon Cumbria.
