Assembly members met for the final online session two and half weeks after their previous meeting. During this time the draft recommendations and principles were shared with the members of the oversight panel for their comment. It was stressed that the assembly is completely free to either ignore or take on board the comments of the oversight panel. A number of rounds of small group discussions led to the production of a final set of recommendations and principles. The week after the session in the comfort of their own homes, assembly members read through their work and then voted to prioritise their recommendations and statement and to approve the assembly statement.
