Join CAfS for an evening of thought-provoking climate-focussed conversation with the bestselling author, Mike Berners-Lee. This is his first local event since the publication of his new book, ‘A Climate of Truth’.

Mike Berners-Lee looks at this challenge from new angles, and spells out why, if humanity is to thrive in the decades ahead, the most critical step is to raise standards of honesty in our politics, our media, and our businesses.
The event will include a Q&A with Mike led by Karen Mitchell (CEO of Cumbria Action for Sustainability and Co-Chair of the Zero Carbon Cumbria Partnership) so bring questions with you!
Copies of A Climate of Truth will be on sale on the night at a discounted rate. Tickets are £15 or £5 (unwaged). All proceeds from ticket sales and profits from book sales will be donated to CAfS to help fund local climate action work.
