Sustainable Arnside launch the new Arnside Repair Cafe at the Community Cafe at the E.I.
The Repair Cafe will be running sessions alongside Arnside Community Cafe with volunteers on hand to give advice and help repair items that may otherwise get thrown away. This helps to stop waste going to landfill and reduces Arnside residents’ carbon footprint.
AbilityNet are Tech advisers who will be available to help with laptops/tablets running slowly or lack of memory and smartphone problems. Bring your items in to Bret and Mike.
KingSharp will have their mobile unit outside AEI ready to sharpen any blunt items. Bring knives, scissors, tools and garden implements such as shears. There is a charge for this service.
There will be volunteers who can help fix electrical items that no longer work properly.
Cash donations will be taken to help towards the running costs of the Repair Cafe.
