Climate Solutions for Cumbrian Landscapes: Trees

When it comes to tackling climate change, you’ll often hear people talking about planting more trees. At this online event, you can find out how trees could help Cumbria reach its net zero goal, and what the challenges might be.
You’ll hear about some of the way trees are already being used in Cumbria to store carbon, and how we can build on this as part of the county’s wider environmental response to the climate crisis.
Among the organisations you’ll hear from are Cumbria Woodlands, the NFU, the Fellfoot Forward Landscape Partnership Scheme and Copeland Borough Council.
