BTP are recruiting women only for a Construction Skills Boot Camp, which runs from Thursday 2nd to Friday 10th January 2024. It is free for those who are unemployed or looking for a career change.
Thursday 2nd January: Base coat plastering (BTP)
Friday 3rd January: Base coat plastering (BTP)
Monday 6th January: Finish plastering (BTP)
Tuesday 7th January: Finish plastering (BTP)
Wednesday 8th January: Insulating walls (Ecological Building Systems)
Thursday 9th January: Insulating floors & roofs (Ecological Building Systems)
Friday 10th January: Lime Plastering (Eden Hot Lime)
All sessions must be attended.
It will focus on how to retrofit old houses, and the plan is for those who successfully complete it to get a job with a local construction company.
You will learn how to plaster with traditional materials and how to insulate floors, walls, and roofs professionally.

£250 + vat if employed by a construction company with less than 250 employees
