Ali Penny, the Invasive Officer for Eden Rivers Trust, will give a talk on how we can prevent the continued rapid spread of invasive plant species in Stainton and the surrounding area.
The talk precedes a planned Sustainable Stainton and PACT ‘Balsam Bash’ on Saturday 6th June from 10am to 2pm to tackle the Himalayan Balsam that has invaded the old quarry site at the top of Fairybead Lane, Stainton.
Refreshments are provided at the talk.
The event is supported with a grant from Westmorland and Furness Council.
