Jeff Obbard – climate scientist to present to SLACC

The world is currently in the grip of global extreme terrestrial & marine heatwaves with temperature records being shattered in the USA, Southern Europe, Africa and Asia simultaneously. Jeff will give a short presentation on the state of the global climate system, the acceleration of global warming, and the associated risks of crossing tipping points within the climate system.
