Celebrate the Appleby Road Community Garden’s 15th birthday at the annual Open Day.
Come along for a variety of activities on site to suit one and all:
– Exploring organic, permaculture 2 acre gardens
– Information and demonstrations by Cumbria Master Composters
– Forest School activities for children and young people provided by the wonderful ‘Stomping Ground’
– Garden activities with the garden’s staff and volunteers (working on veg beds and seed sowing)
– Refreshments: tea, coffee, squash ‘on the house’ and vegan cakes baked by Sandgate schools students are available to purchase.

The AGM will take place at 3pm for anyone interested in attending – all are welcome.
