The annual general meeting of SLACC (both the original unincorporated and the newer unincorporated charities) will take place on Tuesday 22 April at The Eddington in Kendal.
New trustees are invited to come forward. Whilst the unincorporated SLACC has co-opted 6 new trustees to finalise issues surrounding the Cumbria coal campaign, these will be up for election by members at the AGM. new trustees are needed to help SLACC (CIO) continue its current project, providing governance for Waste into Wellbeing and to bring forward development of our longer term plans. Please contact SLACC if you would like to discuss this and consider nomination.
SLACC is also seeking a speaker for the AGM and welcomes suggestions.
