Sustainability Leadership in Education

The Department for Education’s guidance document ‘Sustainability leadership and climate action plans in education‘ requires all schools, early years settings, multi-academy trusts, colleges and universities to have a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan by 2025. As well as meeting the DfE target, having a Climate Action Plan will reduce your carbon footprint, decrease your energy costs, reduce your waste output and increase enagement with pupils, students, staff, parents and the wider community. This webinar, for exisiting and potential sustainability leads, headteachers and those with an interest in climate change, will give an introduction to sustainability practices and provide an understanding of how this can be practically applied in your school.
