Sustainability Seminar – showcasing SENS in Staveley

Thu 25 May @ 10:45 am - 4:30 pm

Meet up with members of the Cumbria sustainability network to exchange ideas and find out more about SENS Staveley.

This full day event gives an opportunity for new and existing members of the sustainability network to come together in Staveley, spend time getting to know each other; build on our vision for the network; agree positions that we would like to see championed through the ZCC partnership and learn about projects Staveley such as the Clean River Kent Campaign and the Staveley Community e-bike hire scheme.    This free event is based at the Village Hall, but there will be opportunities to visit the river to take part in a short introduction to citizen science techniques so please ensure you wear suitable footwear and bring a waterproof.

Most participants will be members of a local sustainability group or thinking about setting up a new group.  If you’re not sure if this is the event for you, please contact helen.attewell@cafs.org.uk for more information

The event includes refreshments and is accessible by train – booking is essential.
