At this free event, join Join Jon Myhill, an agronomist with the Maize Growers’ Association, to discuss how to make the most of maize in North Cumbria. This will include:
- Variety selection
- Nutrient management
- Companion cropping
- Maize options under SFI
There will be a farm visit after lunch, by kind permission of W C Little and Son of Kirkbride House. This will include an in-field session, as well as Jon’s presentation, so please bring clean wellies and waterproofs (just in case).
