This session has been cancelled as the saplings are not yet dormant, so are not ready to be lifted and transplanted. The first planting session will now be on Sunday 16th Nov.
Get involved in one or all of Cockermouth CAN’s tree planting and hedgerow restoration sessions to increase biodiversity around the town.
If you can only manage an hour or two, that’s completely fine. All help is welcomed.
Bring a spade and gloves if you can, wear suitable clothing for muddy fields and maybe bring a snack/drink.
Meeting point is The Farmyard, Strawberry How Farm, Strawberry How Road. It’s the first farm on your left as you leave town by Strawberry How Road. Look for Cockermouth CAN’s sign out on the roadside.
