Get involved in one or all of Cockermouth CAN’s tree planting and hedgerow restoration sessions to increase biodiversity around the town.
If you can only manage an hour or two, that’s completely fine. All help is welcomed.
Bring a spade and gloves if you can, wear suitable clothing for muddy fields and bring a snack & drink.
Meeting point is The Farmyard, Strawberry How Farm, Strawberry How Road. It’s the first farm on your left as you leave town by Strawberry How Road. Look for Cockermouth CAN’s sign out on the roadside. There’s plenty of parking in the farmyard.
