A Westogether climate and nature networking event with a focus on tackling food waste.
The morning session will see new and existing members learning what’s going on in the world of climate and nature in the west of Cumbria, with updates from Growing Well, Rebuild, Green Community Hubs, Friends of the Earth and Cumberland Council’s Licence to Grow.
Following a complimentary lunch, Cumberland Council’s waste reduction team will provide an interactive training on tackling issues around food waste at home or within your community. This will be useful for anyone working with local communities on saving money, eating well, planning meals and reducing waste
