Peninsula Environmental Action Together (PEAT) is an environmental group encompassing the nine parish areas from Cartmel Fell to Allithwaite and Cartmel and Haverthwaite to Ulpha. It aims to raise awareness about climate change and biodiversity loss in this area, tapping into local knowledge and skills to address key issues.  PEAT wants to inspire hope that our peninsula can survive and thrive by showing how individual efforts can make small differences that add up, community projects can make bigger differences, and influencing policy makers could bring about radical changes that lead to a fully sustainable future.

Connect with the group via their website PEAT South Lakes or email peatmessages@gmail.com.
